You may start a new subject of your choosing, or select a subject already started and examine the thread for that subject, and comment, further, on any posting in any thread.  The way this is set up your posting will always be at the end of the thread.  Obviously you will want to "stay on the subject."

If you want to start a new subject, new thread, you may certainly do that.

The public, non-members, can read these postings, but cannot add their own thoughts or postings without becoming a Member of the Group.  You may sponsor anyone you know personally and who qualifies as being a member of a "moral group."

You will arrive at a page showing all of the current subjects where some thread of opinion is ready to be started.  At the starting point there were NO threads -- just topics.  The initial topics chosen were those for which news items had already been published in the public section.  If you haven't done it already, you may want to go back to THAT section, find some news item that interests you, read it, then come back to this page, pick that subject here and proceed to post YOUR opinion or comment on that subject.
